Prodaid manufactures Bowl Feeder for feeding of Carbide drill bits for Centreless Grinding

Prodaid Engineers recently completed an assignment wherein the requirement was to feed 2 types of carbide bits to a centerless grinding machine. The parts being carbide bits, which, though small were very heavy. They required orientation was axial with the dome shape to be forward. The parts being heavy, Prodaid used it vibrator Model PVBF 400  which has a load carrying capacity of 30 kgs with a cast aluminium bowl with stainless steel tooling. The cast al bowl was coated with PU spray bowl coating to ensure smooth operation even in the case oil or coolant was present. It also reduced the noise level resulting due to the touching of the metallic bowl to the metal parts but also with respect to the metal to metal contact between the components themselves. Hence, a rough texture was given for the coating. Prodaid also provided a linear vibrator, model PA-80 with tubes of 400 mm length to accommodate different sizes of carbide bits for further feeding to the centreless grinding machine. This provided a constant pressure and push to the parts when they entered the grinding machine. A stand was provided to ensure ease of operation with integration with the grinding machine of the supplier.

Prodaid manufactures 4 outlet bowl feeder for small metal part

Prodaid Engineers, the 40 years old vibratory bowl feeder manufacturer from Bangalore recently manufactured a bowl feeder with four outlets for feeding of a small metal part. The dimensions of the metal part were such that it was very difficult to orient and feed. The speed required was just 4 parts per minute per outlet and Prodaid achieved a speed of 20 parts per minute per outlet. A linear vibrator was provided at the end of the bowl feeder to make it convenient for the customer to pick up the parts. A centre distance of 50 mm was required to be maintained between each of the parts. The complete assembly was fixed on a single base plate to ensure ease of integration by the customer.

Prodaid Supplies Bowl Feeder for Sheet Metal Part

Prodaid Engineers, the 40 years old vibratory bowl feeder manufacturer from Bangalore recently completed an order for feeding of a sheet metal part with a nut welded to the same. The speed required was 20 parts per minute. However, the achieved speed or feed rate was 40 parts per minute. The part was having a M6 Nut welded to it and was 30 mm in length x 15 mm in width. The requirement was to get the part in widthwise manner with the nut being at the top. The requirement of the customer was to feed the part width wise into a vertical chute of the chute. Along with the bowl feeder, Prodaid supplied a single post stand with height adjustment and also a linear vibrator with a horizontal chute which was made vertical at the end to match the vertical chute of the customer.
